The project is designed for October 2019 – July 2020.
Target regions: Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Ternopil oblasts, Kyiv city.
Project partners: International Organization for Migration in Ukraine, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Aim: To implement educational and awareness-raising activities on safe migration and prevention of trafficking in human beings at the primary and secondary schools through the development of child life competences.
Specific objectives:
- Train the primary school teachers in the piloting of the program of prevention of trafficking in human beings;
- Piloting of the program for primary school on the prevention of trafficking in human beings;
- To train the teachers of pilot secondary schools in using board games on safe migration and prevention of trafficking in human beings;
Activities:
- Development of information and methodological materials for holding classes with primary school children on safe migration and prevention of trafficking in human beings;
- Training of teachers in the implementation of educational and awareness-raising activities on safe migration and prevention of trafficking in human beings in primary schools;
- Holding classes with primary school children based on the developed materials in pilot secondary educational institutions;
- Training of teachers of pilot educational institutions in using board games in working with children of 5-6 grades on safe migration and prevention of trafficking in human beings;
