Project goal: to enhance safety, decent living conditions, protection and self-sufficiency of the most vulnerable families with children who suffered from the war in Ukraine.

Project geography: Kyiv and Kyiv region

Завдання проєкту:

  1. Provide the most vulnerable families of IDPs with children and families with children whose housing was damaged or destroyed in a result of the war in Ukraine, the opportunity to meet their basic needs by providing unconditional vouchers for 4 months.

Families with children who will undergo research and be recognized as the most vulnerable will receive cashless payments (2,200 UAH per person) for four months, which can be exchanged for essential goods at METRO Cash & Carry stores in Kyiv.

More than 3,000 families with children (10,000 people) are expected to receive assistance.

  1. Provide socio-psychological support and protection services to children, youth and adults affected by the war in Ukraine at the community level.

Creation of two centers of socio-psychological support for children and their families, in which psychologists, social workers and other specialists will provide services according to the needs of children and adults.

It is expected that at least 700 children and adults will use the services of the centers.
