The project is being implemented in the partnership with MTV EXIT foundation with the support of USAID.

The project is designed for September 2013 – April 2014.

Aim: to build the capacity of the youth to conduct their own community-based awareness raising activities around human trafficking prevention and safe migration.

Target group: young people aged 15-30 years.

Activities:

  • To increase awareness about the MTV EXIT campaign aimed at prevention of trafficking and exploitation; 
  • To increase awareness about human trafficking and safe migration; 
  • To provide youth with the knowledge and skills to implement human trafficking prevention/safe migration projects in their communities; 
  • To support the implementation of 7-10 youth-led human trafficking prevention/safe migration projects across Ukraine; 
  • To facilitate the creation of an anti-trafficking youth movement in Ukraine.

Specific objectives:

  • Enhancing the awareness of the young people on human trafficking and safe migration;
  • Conduction of call for proposals for community-based awareness raising projects around human trafficking prevention and safe migration;
  • Conduction of the Youth Forum for the representatives of the 7-10 organisations-winners of the call for proposals; 
  • Development and printing of informational materials;
  • Running awareness raising activities in communities.
